Tort Threshold - Gerald Baker

Gerald Baker on Automobile Accident Law

What is a Tort Threshold?

A Tort Threshold sets forth circumstances under which you can file a claim for an injury that you sustained. The no-threshold which is a no-limitation on lawsuit option says that you can file a claim for any injury that you sustained in an automobile accident. The verbal threshold, otherwise known as the limitation on lawsuit option says that you can’t sue unless you have reached certain kinds of injuries that are set forth in the statute.
