3 Dead, 1 Injured In 'Horrific' N.J. Car Crash, Police Say

NEW YORK -- Three people are dead and one other injured after a car crash in North Bergen on Sunday, police said.

Police are calling the accident on Secaucus Road “horrific,” saying one of the vehicles was virtually split in half.

Officers said a blue Honda traveling at a high speed crossed the yellow line and collided with a Chevrolet SUV.
 

The passenger of the SUV, a 54-year-old woman, was killed upon impact, as were the 18- and 19-year-old passengers in the Honda.

The driver of the SUV was transported to Jersey City Medical Center.
