What is Collision Coverage?

What you need to have protection for your own car if it’s involved in an accident. Collision meaning, collision with an object or another vehicle. The standard policy provides a $750 deductible for collision coverage. What would it mean, you pay the first $750 yourself and your insurance company pays the balance of the client. You can increase that deductible if you want to decrease the cost of your insurance but then you have to bear more of the risk of loss. You can decrease the coverage if you want to decrease your own risk but you will increase the cost of insurance. So the standard policy in New Jersey provides a $750 deductible if you sustain a loss, damage to your vehicle, you submit the claim to your own insurance company and they will pay your repair bills.
